S.B.D. Institute of Pharmacy, Bangalore was established with the primary objective of delivering high-quality education in the field of pharmacy offering the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) course for over three decades and initiated the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) course in 2021 and the institution is under the aegis of Sri Balaji Vidya Niketan (Regd), a well-known educational trust in Hanumanthnagar.
The college is affiliated with the Board of Examining Authority, Food and Drugs Control Authority (for D. Pharm), Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) (for B.Pharm) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Located in the heart of the city, the institution features state-of-the-art facilities, a well-established library and highly qualified & experienced faculty members. During their studies, the students are exposed to national and international workshops and conferences, which offer extensive benefits for their academic, professional, and personal development.

Today, pharmacist is working as one of the most important member in most of the health care system and pharmaceutical industry. Also they have a key role in the development of the Pharmaceutical Legislatives and Forensic Pharmacy, which involve the drug regulatory affairs, pricing policy, Drug Technical Advisor Board, and other government affairs in the country. Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical research is a fascinating path of healthcare growth and development to provide live to a drug into the market to cure disease. Pharma professionals remain steadfast in helping to lighten the healthcare system and always commit for adequate supply of medication to patients.
